The Legal Committee is active with ongoing copyright and intellectual property issues at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). It also advises NABA's other committees and staff on legal and regulatory issues as referred to them for review.
NABA has been actively represented in WIPO Broadcaster Treaty negotiations participating in dialogue with other governments and organizations from around the world.
The committee continues to work jointly with the NABA Technical and Integrated Media Committees on the legal aspects of content protection, spectrum and emerging business models in light of shifts in technology and new consumer devices.
