The Benefits of membership in NABA include...

The subject matters include issues of interest to broadcasters and those companies involved in the support and delivery of broadcast services and content in North America.

Join members through participation in the World Broadcasting Unions’ International Satellite Operations Group (WBU-ISOG) forums held every spring and fall alternately between North America and Europe/Asia.

  • Access to and participation in the NABA Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference held in the spring. The primary focus of the AGM is to bring broadcast leaders together to focus on the current issues and share views, knowledge and inspirations for the future.

Membership

There are three classes of NABA membership: Full, Associate and Affiliate. The Full members are North American National Broadcasters and they automatically form the Board of Directors. Associate members tend to be regional networks, specialty services or foreign broadcasters. There are two positions on the board reserved for Associate members. Affiliate members are usually service providers, equipment providers or vendors who have no voting rights but who are involved in the business of broadcasting and have a direct interest in many of the items dealt with in the NABA work plan.

Participation in the World Broadcasting Unions (WBU)

NABA members may participate in the activities of World Broadcasting Unions (WBU), the coordinating body for broadcasting unions which represent broadcasters worldwide. Members may participate in two working committees:
